Two landmark regions on the same scheduled route

This group tour brings together the Ararat plain and the Azat Valley. Khor Virap is known for its setting facing Mount Ararat; the route then travels toward Charents Arch, the classical Temple of Garni, the basalt columns of the Symphony of Stones and rock-cut Geghard Monastery.

It covers more ground than an itinerary confined to Garni and Geghard. If your main interest is Khor Virap's history and a possible Ararat view as well as the monuments around Garni, compare the published duration and stop order with the shorter regional options.
