Kecharis Monastery Complex
We begin the tour in Tsaghkadzor, where we visit the historic Kecharis Monastery Complex. Afterwards, you will enjoy an exciting zipline experience with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Lake Sevan
During this tour, you will discover two of Armenia’s most popular destinations — the beautiful mountain resort of Tsaghkadzor and Lake Sevan.
Sevanavank Monastery
We then continue to Lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank Monastery, located on a hilltop on the Sevan Peninsula. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Sevan.
A mountain resort and lakeside monastery in one trip
This group route combines Tsaghkadzor's mountain setting with Lake Sevan instead of continuing all the way to Dilijan. The published stops include Kecharis Monastery, a zip-line location and the Tsaghkadzor cable car, followed by Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery.
It is a good itinerary to compare when you want both resort-town scenery and the views around Armenia's best-known lake without adding an extra region to the day.
