Why visit

Charents Arch 🏔️

Charents Arch is one of the most beautiful and symbolic places in Armenia. It is located on the road to Garni, on a hill overlooking the magnificent Mount Ararat and the surrounding Armenian mountains.

The arch was built in 1957, designed by the famous Armenian architect Rafael Israelyan, and dedicated to the great Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents.

The location is especially famous for its breathtaking view of Mount Ararat, which can be seen in all its beauty on a clear day. For Charents, Ararat was one of the most important symbols of the Armenian homeland, its history, and the spiritual world of its people.

Here, visitors can take a short stop, enjoy the beautiful scenery, take memorable photos with Mount Ararat in the background, and experience the unique atmosphere where Armenian nature and culture come together.

📍 Charents Arch is one of the first stops of our tour, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey to Garni Temple, the Symphony of Stones, and Geghard Monastery.
